Will Kuhlman-Director
“Will has been the Director of the Christ Center since 2019. Before that, he was a campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at CMU and worked closely with the Christ Center. Will loves caring for college students and seeing them encounter the love of Jesus. He’s passionate about stewarding our resources well to be used for God’s purposes. Will is married to Alison and has two boys, Barrett and Harrison. In his free time, he enjoys camping with his family, smoking various meats, and watching the Broncos (lose).”
Taylor Scofield-Outreach and Development Director
Taylor is married to Maggie and has a 1 ½ year old daughter named Harper. He first encountered the Christ Center as a student–receiving missions scholarships, hosting bible studies in the building, and eventually becoming a barista at Four Winds. Taylor loves to connect people to each other and to resources they might need. He loves the ministry of the Christ Center as a connection point for college students and the Church. In his free time, Taylor likes to trail run, roast coffee, play guitar, and read.
Gerda Marais-Missionary to Spain
While Gerda has worn many hats for the Christ Center over the last 20 years (founder, director, board member, groundskeeper, etc), Gerda currently lives in Málaga and manages the Cuatro Vientos Space ministry. She founded the Christ Center 20 years ago along with her husband Andrew and has devoted her life to loving college students and seeing God’s Kingdom expand. Gerda loves to hike, visit the beach, and spend time meeting with God in prayer.
Ella McClung-Lead Barista
Ella has been going to Four Winds since she was a kid tagging along for her mom’s meetings. She used to play the board games here with her sister for hours. She really loves reaching out to people and showing God’s love to the people that come through the coffee shop. Her hobbies are art, reading, singing, and dancing. She really loves superheroes, anime, and fantasy novels.
